Description

I spent some time imaging this target while waiting for M81 and M82 to rise higher in the sky for my primary project. Although this galaxy is relatively close at 10.7 million light years, its location near the dusty areas near the galactic equator make this a super challenging target to image. In addition, I'm really noticing the deficiencies of my 6SE tube and F/6.3 focal reducer. Pinpoint stars are not my forte with this rig. Definitely looking forward to a future upgrade to either a 127mm refractor or Edge 8HD.
